I had forgotten quite a few details from The Last Mrs. Parrish, so this started a little slow for me at first. This story started to get GOOD once it all started coming back to me! I actually liked to see their romance build before Amber did what she did. Most prequels feel unnecessary, but this one fit in to the story naturally by providing more detail.
