Although at first I wondered what message my kids would take from a man who threw a temper tantrum then accidentally got his way, my son surprised me by commenting on how he thought the man should have tried the last thing first instead of wasting his energy on the mad tempers. Excellent illustrations, I love that they aren't digitized.
You really must read this book with a child. I have thumbed threw it on my own as an adult and didn't think it was all the great. It wasn't until I read it with my 5 year old son that I realized it's appeal. Pick it up and read it with a kid close to you today!
Old Children's Book. Liked it as a kid, but haven't read it in years.
One of my daughter's favorites! We read it on a regular basis.
