Each of the six short stories are amazing. They have tremendous depth of detail in the creation of characters and the worlds they populate. They also have the rare ability to sneak under your skin and latch onto those the nerves and brain cells that create tension, stress and even terror (and maybe a twinge of disgust). I fell directly into each as if I was sucked into that world.

This is the first time I have read anything by Susan May, but it is not the last. Much of her writing reminds me of my great love and respect for Stephen King's works. The enormous fear of turning the page because of what might happen mixed with the insane desire to see what might happen is one of my top three feelings. Yes, I know how strange some people might think I am but, some of you know exactly what I mean.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book from the author and she requested an honest review. Which is great because that's the only kind I write, lol.

So, stop reading already and go read the book.
