This is my third time reading this book, and I have to say I still adore them.
I picked up on so many more subtle clues this time around.
I read them the first time in elementary school, and then about ten years ago as an adult.
Now on my third time, it is still just as good.

Everyone talks about how Harry Potter is such a great fantasy series, but this book especially excels in the Mystery aspect acting basically as a magic themed who-done-it? Will say, reading this while knowing the actual outcome is kinda silly because in reality around 65% of the book is just them chasing red herrings. Still an enjoyable read however. Also Lockhart is much more hilarious in the book compared to the movie.
This is a pretty decent book. It has good mystery, it has stakes, it has intrigue, it has good character development. There's just a lot of plot convenience.

I throughly enjoyed this one as it’s always been one of my favorite movies. The background information we got was amazing and I am so glad to have it now. Learning more about Tom Riddle I think we imperative to figure out who he really was as a child before turning into the dark lord. Also getting a bit of Hagrid background was also beneficial. He was always one of my favorite characters, but through these books I’ve grown to love him more and more. I am finding that I feel our leads were cast very well for their roles in the movies from the books too. I feel their essence more and how the actors brought who they truly were to the screen seems even more impressive. I’m excited to continue.
