Absolutely chaotic, vomitous, spewing forth of words. An anxiety filled, stream of consciousness memoir that spares no one, not even the author himself.

This book was my summer reading that I put of until the second week of school. Due to the circumstances I can’t exactly say that I enjoyed it, but it was incredibly interesting. The life of Dave Eggers reads like fiction. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and sometimes pity. In fact his life was straight coping for the majority. As a narrator he is candid and flawed, raw in the best possible ways. He does not sugarcoat, he is not egotistical and I was deeply touched by this. At some points I had to look up the pop culture references just to ground myself that this book is indeed reality.
