I See Things Differently: A First Look At Autism by Pat Thomas was informative about the very edges of what Autism is. In terms of it being an informational text I think it failed to actually provide that much information about what Autism is or how it affects people differently. The ideas were very generalized and it didn't highlight the amazing achievements that people with Autism have achieved or even the inclusion of how people with autism can experience overstimulation or that there is a wide-spread spectrum. Still, I gave it a 3.75 for the fact that it touches on what it can be for perhaps a pre-school leveled student, but I personally believe it shouldn't be used for older children because of how generalized the characteristics are explained.

i don't remember what exactly it was about this book i didn't like, but something about it made me uncomfortable enough that i took a picture in the library of me giving it a thumbs down.
i like that there was a book about autism in the children's section at the library, but maybe a more recently written one would be more appropriate.
