OMG!!!! The title is self explanatory. Dirty, bad, wrong but so, so good! Can't wait to begin Dirty Bad Savage in a few minutes!

DNF
Uhhh.... Was it just me that was bored literally THE WHOLE TIME? I just didn't find anything appealing about the story, about the MC's or anything for that matter.

Holy sweet Jesus. I thought I had read it all but WOW this book took it to another level. I am realising what I thought was out there? Not even close to how out there this book was.

Amazing.

Good start to the series, alot of BDSM and great spicy scenes! Good story line and I love how the characters come together in the end! It's a happy ending! Can't wait to read the second book!

This book was so raw and it kept you on your toes. I love the storyline and how powerful a submissive can be under complete domination. Great Job done by West!

This was an excellent BDSM smut read, in my opinion. The dirty talk (filthy, really) and spice was on point! My reservation to giving a higher ⭐️ rating was the plot. I liked the overall story of Lydia and James, but wouldn’t have minded if the book was longer and drug out some of the internal struggles with each character. With the overall theme of struggling to let go and free your emotions, I feel like we could have seen more internal conflict, more back story, and epiphany moments when they let go and finally let the walls down.

Things I wash had happened:
1. I wish Lydia and Steph had come back together after their confrontation and resolved it as friends. Having different views and/or tastes doesn’t mean you cannot be friends. I think it really would’ve added to the story if Lydia tried to discuss her bedroom tastes with Steph. No one should be shamed for what they enjoy and I just I felt like there was no resolve between them.
2. I would have loved to see James put the effort forth to get divorced. Why wasn’t he fighting a divorce? Or even filed? It honestly didn’t make sense to me. He liked control, needed it, and Rachel was a wildcard. Why didn’t he just finalize the split? I think it would’ve shown greater effort on his part to further separate his old life from his current one after his declaration of love for Lydia. I feel like it would have shown his commitment to growth.

A good representation of the BDSM community, and adored the fact that there was a huge sprinkle of lesbians in it!

Apart from me being grossed out after the 50% mark, I think this book could have done what it had to do for me if:

1. I was it’s target audience, and
2. If the author had fixed her wording better

Now let me say that this is not the first book I have read for Jade West. I have also read Sugar Daddies which I LOVE. I am a sucker for a good ménage a trois. Even so, due to the type of content that was in this book, which by the way I looked for the triggers and did not find them on their website before reading, Jade West used THEE most off putting terms in majority of the sex scenes that threw off the fucking vibes. I would be getting into it and then the characters would say or think something that just needed not be said and I would be like this
