it was pretty mid but better than book 3. i dont know whats gonna happen now but i am excited to find out. the writing style hasnt improve but that helps with the fast pacing

Tory is actually the worst. The reason in DNFing this series. Especially with what she did at the end of this book. I’m still crying. She’s actually the worst. I know authors can’t make things too easy on main characters, but this is just ridiculous at this point. To be done with four books and literally nothing good has happened. There’s really no point to reading five more. I feel like if you’re four books into a series, you should know a decent amount about the characters past, you should have seen growth from all the characters, or at least their powers seem to have grown and they know what to do with them better. But no not with this series . I’m really bummed too, because I feel like there’s a lot of great characters in here. But the authors just don’t really care about the plot they care more about the money grab that they get. I want their love stories to work out so bad, but it seems like the authors just wanna constantly try and pull some bullshit. An attempt to get you hooked. But at this point, it’s just making it harder to want to keep reading if nothing ever really happens in any of the books and it’s the same plot each time. I’m actually really angry because I feel like this series could just be so amazing but it’s missing something big.
