Interesting twists in this story that I was not expecting. I am most looking forward to this conclusion out of all the other trilogies I'm currently reading.

Not a good book to read when you're not feeling well - - the descriptions in the book are too draining. But I am curious to see where it goes from here in the next book.

OMG!!!

5/5

Meh...

Really love this series! This book was a little harder for me to get into but once I made it like 40pages in I didn't want to stop reading! The book was a little more serious than Wither making me miss the lighthearted Linden.

Cliffhangers are no fun either! I will be eagerly awaiting the final book in this trilogy!

Such a good series!! But this is the most twisted out of the three.

I didn't like this as much as the first book. For a girl who is from the outside I thought it was extremely stupid of her to get captured by someone else basically straight away. I really didn't like the descriptions in the drugged up states it made me feel a bit sick because I just don't like that is it real isn't it thing. Quite a frustrating book because she basically ended up back where she started and it felt like a massive waste of time to me.

This waffled a bit between being a weak follow up to the first and a strong one, but in the end I really enjoyed it and did have a hard time putting I down when at the beginning and then when things picked back up at the end. I'd initially been disappointed that the carnival/red light portion of this felt so hurried, but in the end it made sense to bring the story back to where it needs to be for the finale. Which I am a bit miffed that it's a semi-cliffhanger that I'll have to wait a year to see resolved...

Rhine does still make for an interesting protagonist, and the awful future she lives in a compelling world. I'm glad this actually took her and Gabriel back out into that world, since another book of her being in that mansion would have limited the worldbuilding options. Instead, things are much better fleshed out in here.

Looking forward to the conclusion!

Too sad. I might try to read the rest later. Geez...I finally went back and read this. I'm interested enough to finish the trilogy. More good things need to happen to this character, so I sure do hope it has a satisfying ending.
