Started off and continued to be wayyyy too slow for me. Also some of the scenes I felt were completely  unnecessary to the storyline. I just wasn't connecting to the book much at all.

The author lied about a lot of the story as she writes in the author's note at the end of the book. And the book doesn't even have a disclaimer to say that this book is not entirely true, and that it is only inspired by the real story.
