Between the slow-moving first half and the trigger warnings (infertility, infant loss, infidelity, sexual assault, among other obvious ones..) all over the place, I almost dnf-ed this one halfway. I am glad I pushed through. The author did a wonderful job weaving the story together; seemingly meaningless details in the first half would come up later in a way that had me on the edge of my seat. I also came to love the Williams sisters by the end. All throughout I thought any one of the men would've had it coming, but I did love how the "missing person" was revealed and how we got closure for all the characters.
Graphic: Sexual assault, Violence, and Infertility
