um yes
1. the sound of her heels is the rhythm to one of his songs
2. friends with benefits with infuriating miscommunication but also pining
3. she has the most killer collection of shoes, which he then proceeds to add to perfectly in the epilogue
just the best way to finish the series

”because i know you. i’ve spent years trying not to learn you, and failing.” ♡₊˚

this one took me a hot second to get through bc i feel a slump coming on, but i did really enjoy my time reading this! i loved brenna and rye waaaay more than i was anticipating, and they definitely did not disappoint. i loved the fwb aspect that clearly was not going to end well, and i loved how intimate they were with each other. this definitely ties with being my favorite from the series. i’m also curious if whip will ever get a book? it’s sad that he’s the one left out lmao

Who doesn't love some antagonistic mutual pining? I went into this without having read the other books in the series and while I didn't love this enough to go back and read all the others it stood up pretty well on its own.

Audiobook narration: 5/5
Spice: 3/5 - open door, explicit language, repeated

I don’t know if it’s because I’m sick, probably not but I could. Not truly enjoy this book. After the 50% mark I consider quitting which is something I’ve never done with the previous ones.

I truly was expecting a lot more from Rye and Brenna, but anyways… I hope the last one is Whip and Jules
