This was a beautiful read and my favorite from Rupi 's works I could relate to these prices a lot more than the others. I felt heard and understood, and I couldn't ask for any thing more I really appreciate the rawness and delicacy in every word. Thank you so much Rupi!!! I cannot wait to read your future work!

I don't read poetry. I read Kaur's previous poetry collections about three years ago and enjoyed them and when I heard she had a new collection I knew I would pick it up. I dog-eared over 40 pages, and those were the poems that really resonated with me. Although most of the poems are short and succinct (phrases, really) they are really powerful. Happy to have this in my library and will probably pick up another poetry collection this year to see if I'm enjoying the format or if it's only Kaur's work that I find interesting.

Kaur is back at it with another powerful collection of poems. I always find at least one or two that resonate with me, but this one had fewer of those than her previous collections. Perhaps I am not so lucky and have not learned to love myself with the passion that Kaur has yet and maybe that's why.
I also feel that compared to her other collections, Home Body is more narratively disjointed. It feels very much like two, perhaps even three, distinct books. I found myself lingering less with this one, and while I enjoyed it I feel that it doesn't quite measure up to the other two.

• Mind: 2 estrellas.
"if you are waiting for them to make you feel like you are enough you'll be waiting a long time."
"A man can't give me anything I can't give myself"
• Rest: 2,5 estrellas.
"no one on this planet
is in more denial
than the white man
who regardless of all
the evidence in front of him
still thinks racism and sexism
and all the world’s pain don’t exist"
"what a privilege it is
to grow into the
finest version of myself"

A powerful collection of poems that I’m sure will stay with me for a while. Now I shall read the rest of her works.
