I love Cecelia Ahern's books but was disappointed when I read the two short stories. The Girl in the Mirror wasn't all too bad, but the ending didn't make much sense. I honestly couldn't get myself to finish The Memory Maker, the writing didn't capture my attention and it was all over the place. It also reminded me of the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Due storie molto carine in cui si sente particolarmente la presenza di quella magia quotidiana tipica dei romanzi di Cecelia Ahern, le ho apprezzate tantissimo, specialmente la prima.
Two short-stories from Cecelia Ahern. They'r ebeautiful, and dark in their own way. Worth reading? Yes.
I've read many Cecelia's books and they all carry important messages. These two short stories do too, but it's kind of harder to figure it out. I liked both of them, but not as much as I thought I would. It was very easy to read, but harder to figure out, what really happened. It can sometimes be a good thing, but not in this case. I still liked it, but Cecelia has better wokrs that I've read.

This was a cute pair of short stories! Although the writing style was rather simple throughout, occasionally telling rather than showing, the stories themselves had interesting plots and endings well suited to the content before them.
Not a huge fan of this book. I felt the endings were rushed and content wasn't up to Ahern's usual standard.
I didn't really expect this, because it seems like a fun chicklit, however it's really dark and includes tragic and traumatic stories. It is well written.
The moral of these stories were really cute. Didn't quite agree with the moral of the memory machine, but loved both stories none the less.
This book is made up of two short stories. Very random plots, very random characters and very unlike Cecelia's work. The storylines were interesting but lacked the magic that regular Ahern's stories have. I gave an extra star because it's Cecelia :)
