I can't think of a Mo Willems book I haven't liked, but this one is definitely my favorite. It also has one of my favorite quotes/life mottos. "If you ever find yourself in the wrong story, leave." I didn't know where it came from, but this line has been a huge motivator in my life. The story is also hilarious in true Willems, break the 4th wall fashion.
Great book to read to older children, 1st-3rd graders. It is a funny spin on the Goldilocks story.
This book also total lives up to everything I have been hearing about it. This will be a favorite at least as long as fractured fairy tales are popular. The illustrations are endlessly hilarious, and the text just kicks the laughter up a notch.
Huge fan of Mo Willems and this did not disappoint! Love the twist on the old tale. Fun! Will share with my school kids for sure!
Goofy idea, goofy writing, goofy art - what's not to like. Okay so there might be some trespassing. And some over-eating of chocolate. But dinosaur from Norway! It's just funny and not particularly rude or mean-spirited or anything.
A super silly retelling - and the perfect readaloud to induce giggles.

Mo Willems is such a gem. What a great book for young girls. The moral of the story is “if you ever find yourself in the wrong story, leave.” Such power in that sentiment.
Hilarious. Students loved it. My girls loved it. Two students asked questions I had never thought of after reading it ... the logic of stories really matters to them, I'm realizing.
