Clever, witty, funny, and humorous. Excellent for 4-8 year olds in groups and one on one. Mo is a genius and his fans will not be disappointed. Not as original as his other work, but that is a lot to ask.

At this point, I think I'm just dazzled by Mr. Willems, himself. It seems I just love everything he does, no matter what. I want to read this book aloud to someone, complete with snarky attitude and voice.
Very funny spoof of goldilocks and the three bears.
This book made me laugh out loud from the end papers! Mo Willems' humor is witty enough for adults and silly enough that kids will enjoy too. Could be a great story time book and kids may even spot their favorite little pigeon inside. MUST READ!
This was a disappointment for us, because Atticus and I usually love everything by M.O. But the jokes were too cerebral for a child, nodding to a story trope that is not yet known as a formula. I chuckled far more than Atty, who glanced at me like I was trying too hard.

Funny but children need to be familiar with the Goldilocks story in order to laugh at the fractured tale. Also, they should be familiar with Willems (who isn't?) in order to follow along with his more-than-wacky humor (even more bizarre in this tale).

I loved this book before I had kids, but now I've gotten to enjoy it with my kids, too. Still as fun as I remembered it; Mo Willems never disappoints!
Hilarious retelling of the classic tale that's meant for older readers than most of Willem's books.
