This was a very endearing romance. I was expecting to be distraught from this read, but it fell flat on the heart wrenching promise. This read had moments where I giggled, kicked my feet, and daydreamed with the characters.
With that being said, this was a wonderful story with phenomenal disability rep and sign language. Amazing character development.
What I did not anticipate enjoying, but most definitely did, was MMC being the virgin. It was a refreshing take on the romances I usually pick up and it was hot af!

liked the story, but this author suffers from a lethal case of telling-not-showing, which made it so hard to enjoy lol. also, take a shot every time the author writes “clean, masculine scent” (??)
I couldn't get into it. It felt like a chore to read this, so I DNF'd.

this was a super quick, easy, and cute read and i’m really glad i picked this up when i did. i was in between witcher books and needed something like this.
it started out super strong and the meet cute/subsequent meetings were adorable. i feel like it fell off later into the book and lost a lot of steam. the climax came on super quick and ended super quick so it didn’t feel like that big of a deal.
cute book but there wasn’t anything especially unique or extraordinary about it, but it served its purpose!

One of my favs, just such a sweet emotional book. At times it’s cringey or a tad dramatic but overall I love it.
Bree loves into town after running away from the past (aka her deli getting robbed and dad being murdered). She runs into archer, the towns mute “freak” and is curious about him early on. She realizes he speaks sign language and she did too cuz her dad was deaf so she befriends archer. He’s tough at first but opens up to her and experiences a lot of firsts with her considering he’s been alone most of his life. They have an intense love and she tries to fix his trauma (love triangle between his dad mom and uncle who all end up dead) and there’s his cousin Travis who is actually his brother (Bree meets him first and even goes on a date). But at the end of the day they have such a deep love even tho he runs away for months to work on himself so that he can be better for her and not so codependent. But the end is weirdly rushed of him coming back and getting shot again by Bree’s dad’s murderer who was on bail. So that was stupid but overall this book will always be sweetie

I read this a couple of years ago and don’t remember much of it except from the slight feeling of disappointment that I felt at the end. As usual, BookTok romance strikes again.
