dnf and i'll give it one star because this book had potential, i liked the first chapter. unfortunately the execution is so bad i just got halfway through and i genuinely want to wash my eyes with bleach.

i went into this book with high hopes because of all the five star reviews. it's so hyped everywhere and everyone kept saying the writing is beautiful and the story is amazing and how it's so sad. everyone has this on their favorites and i thought "well let's give this a go" yeah i'm never listening to any of you ever again you are all LIARS. i had to keep going on the 2 and 1 star reviews to see if my feelings for this book was valid because everyone loves this book like am i reading the same book? because i felt NOTHING like absolutely empty

i didn't want to dnf because i wanted to see the plot twist everyone was talking about but i couldn't stand the amount of times bree describes archer's "whiskey eyes" like girl shut up, or the amount of times she was turned on and how something was pooling in between her thighs. like, i kept reading this and i felt like something was off. so i dove into the spoilers and oh my god it kept getting worse and i am not going to torture myself with what i just read. there's this one spoiler about archer asking bree to teach him how to drive and when i found out what happened, that was what made me just stop like yeah time to stop convincing myself to get through this book for the sake of finishing it when i know already that i hate it.

this was not it im sorry

⭐️ 5/5

This book was giving Collen Hoover and, in my opinion, not in a good way. While the ending was really satisfying, I just didn't think the book was particularly good and parts of the writing/scenes were a bit cringe.

Wow! This book went way beyond my expectations. I had heard such amazing things about it prior to reading it and it had been on my shelf for a while before I finally picked it up.

I loved both Bree and Archer, especially Archer. He was unlike any male character I have ever encountered in a book before and he was everything I needed and more. He was such an amazing person and his story broke my heart into a million pieces.

I loved the relationship between the two of them and just how important having the other in their lives was. Both characters had been through some intense things and it felt so perfect that they found each other.

Absolutely loved this and cannot wait to read more from this author.

i really wanted to like this. but i almost DNF’d. the writing was just exhausting, cringey and just not interesting. also there’s always a constant reference to his “male” body like i get it you like a manly man.

omg and i’m also not a fan of Bree. she tries too hard to come off a quirky or whatever.

i’m just a little disappointed in how i felt about this book. i have heard it constantly being hyped up but it was not the best to me. this is mainly because of the spice within this book. it would go from being very cute to spicy all of a sudden and i just wasn’t the biggest fan of that. also the writing wasn’t my favorite, but the ending was very good!!

There we go
I liked many things about it , first that the writer focused mainly on Bree and she rarely wrote about Archer's perspective , as i often feel that female writers are incapable of making men sound like men !
