I am so mad at myself for not having read Archer’s Voice earlier. It’s literally perfect, incredible, and flawless. To be completely honest, I'm finding it difficult to put the story aside and find myself wanting to read the chapters repeatedly.

This book had the premise and potential to be good. But i quickly realized that it would fall flat.

1. The writing was awful. It started okay, and then it got so cringy and just bad. Theres nothing else to say except it was bad. I rolled my eyes and shook my head so many times. Running and jumping into his arms? Smh

2. Everything just resolved so easily. You're telling me Bree witnesses her father get shot and almost gets raped and has "flashbacks" for months but then she spends one night at a guy's house that shes known for a month and BAM shes cured? Seriously?

3.  Insta love. I just don't enjoy this trope at all.

4. The characters were so flat. I could not connect or relate to Bree or Archer, or any of the side characters for that matter, at all. Even given their traumatic backstories, I just felt like they really lacked actual defining character.

Overall i was very disappointed by this popular book.

this book will from now on has a special place in my heart
