Incredible. Poignant, beautiful, brilliant writing. One of the best books I’ve ever read.

For the place I'm currently at in life (married mom, kids growing up and moving out, mother just died) this book resonated with my emotions and stirred feelings that have been lying dormant. I reveled in the melding of bird-watching, love for the natural world, and human relationships. It was painful at times, and beautiful.
