I really enjoyed this story! I'm definitely going to have to read more books by Agatha Christie!

I love Tommy and Tuppence books and one of the things I really like is that each book features them at different times of their life. This is the first. Tommy and Tuppence are old friends who meet by chance when stony broke and decide to hire themselves out for anything. Well, the anything is quite spectacular. Add in a young American millionaire, the sinking of the Lusitania, the disappearance of a young woman 5 years earlier, secret plans and a master criminal and this book is such a romp from first to last.

Another triumph! I know some readers are not huge fans of the Tommy and Tuppence series, but I love them
mysterious medium-paced

Maybe it was just the narrator, but I wasn't feeling this one.

Still enjoyed the plot, I think I had more issue with the characters and their portrayal rather than the actual story.

The beginning was ok but then it just got boring. I think it’s because I don’t really like the themes.
