I put the adult/minor relationship tag because technically speaking there is a relationship between an 18 year old and a 15 year old. That said, the age gap is 2 and a half years and isn't too much cause for concern in my opinion.

It isn't a nice story, but it is an important one. I think it's important that everyone reads a story like this, to understand people and their reactions better. Maybe it could help prevent similar situations.

That being said, there were also a lot of things I didn't enjoy. There were some very unrealistic dialogues and scenes. Some actions of the protagonist were very childlike, like those "yn" Watpad stories. Most character were very flat (no personality), especially in the beginning. I almost put the book away halfway trough.

I was extremely disappointed with this story. It 97% felt like romanticizing abuse.  Once again, I followed the hype and felt that maybe my feelings were because I'm not the target audience. Or do I know too much? I am unsure how this is one of the more popular colleen hoover books.
