This book absolutely BROKE me. Though I had hunches at how things would play out, I didn’t realize I would get so emotional.

Beautifully written book. Dealt w/ parents who had abusive tendencies + didn't really have any good examples of healthy relationships growing up, so really related to Lily in that aspect. I typically really dislike when books tend to jump around in time, (like when Lily looked through past journal entries throughout the book) but this book did it well. Honestly don't have any complaints about it/anything i wish was different.
