Gift as part of Bookmas. Colleen Hoover is all the rage right now (#thxBookTok) and everyone loves her. This book was whatever, at best. I am not the target audience. I don't like dramatic replays of people being dumb in their personal lives, and I don't like dysfunctional families as entertainment.

Lady meets man on roof -
he is beating up a lawn chair before he realizes he has an audience. He later proves to be a creep, harasses her, and literally begs for sex multiple times until she eventually agrees. She came from an abusive family, slept with an 18 year old the day she turned 16, and her dad beat him to a pulp. This new man love bombs, they elope, he's abusive. She stays three (3) times and gets pregnant, then decides to leave. Also, 2nd time he hurts her, she finds out he killed his brother when he was 5. Says he blacks out now.
Disgusting. Reasonably well-written. Not my type of entertainment. Also, her name is Lilly Blossom Bloom, and she opens a flower store for people who don't like flowers. Ugh.
