Well this was just fun, like a good action movie in book form. 

It contains an awful lot of child torture and murder, so check the warnings carefully. It’s all very Buffy-like, though, and I’d recommend it as being something refreshingly different to a lot of mainstream SFF right now.

A common review I've seen about this book is that you can't really describe it in a good enough way, you just have to read it. Now that I have finished the book, I understand this statement entirely. I would HIGHLY recommend reviewing content warnings if you have any strong stances on topics you do not wish to read about.
