This book needed lots of CONTENT WARNINGS at the beginning. It was especially upsetting to me that the author uses , and if I had known that, I wouldn't have read it. It really seems like the author is using it as a way to link the characters, make things hard for them, and create drama. It wasn't handled with care and trauma-recovery in mind.

Such a beautiful story about three amazing women who overcome so much in their lives. I absolutely loved how the author connected them all across such different time periods. I couldn’t put this down! Love love loved.

The inter generational parallels is nice, but

the women don’t seem to have much plot or personality beyond their trauma from men. I understand that’s the point, but it made it very repetitive and reduced the women to their relationships and trauma
