this was a struggle to finish although the writing and the composition is ingenious and the plot is captivating at times. Dracula in my opinion is just too long for such a limited plot line, especially since the main event only occupies about 3 pages. However it is interesting to compare fin de siècle mysticism and vampirism to today‘s contemporary depiction of vampires

this was so incredibly long (I do kind of agree with the top review on this book that stoker is beating a dead horse lmao but I didn't mind too much), and for some reason, the killing of drac felt much less eventful than that of lucy which was a little disappointing, but this book was so fun and I loved the random cast of characters!
the entire plot is lowkey centred around the devotion of 5 men to 2 women (both romantically and platonically) and so it felt very "the bachelorette" which I adored - gothic but with little hints of multiple men going after the same woman and being forced to get along
anyways wish the dracula daily memes were easier to find - they have all since been buried by gnachrov or whatever it is. if you have any good ones send them my way <3

Honestly wasn't in the mood in general and as someone who doesn't usually struggle with classics I STRUGGLED!!Will defo pick up another time tho I just wasn't feeling it but that's also down to circumstance
