*ARC REVIEW*
This book was cute with a little fluff, a little angst, and a little smut. The characters were all super loveable and the story was addicting.
I would have enjoyed more of a slower pace between the fluff and angst but overall an enjoyable read.

Graphic: Sexual content
Minor: Homophobia
Lots of Korean words so I would suggest reading the list of Korean words in the back of the book first.

*ARC Review* This was a very cute debut! It was very fluffy and low angst. As someone totally new to K-Pop I felt it did a great job of explaining K-Pop without feeling like it was beating you over the head with the exposition.

Teach Me K-Pop is a delightful and truly enjoyable book about making love work no matter what the costs. I was lucky enough to be allowed an advanced read of this book and I couldn't be happier. The characters are a lot of fun and the story contains the different levels of friendship and love, how close we can be to those we love platonically and how true romantic love can come out of nowhere when you least expect it.
I really enjoyed how the author captured both the world of being an idol, as well as the speech patterns of those for whom English is a second language. It adds a lot to the book and the story as a whole. It's a reminder that true love is possible and that there is magic in the most mundane things if they're shared with someone that means the world to you.

I have so many amazing things to say about this book!!! First the non spoiler things!!
Teach Me Kpop is great for everyone. If you are a Kpop fan you’ll understand the world easily but this is also written in a way that teaches those new to kpop the basics as well which I thought was a fantastic touch to bring in all MLM romance readers.
Nikko and Jase our main characters are both adorable. While they may meet in a professional sense the heart eyes vibe was their from first meeting. While we see ups and downs of a long distance relationship we can also see the growth and importance of connection and companion ship!
The Rysing crew is all so caring and like so many of the irl kpop groups have become brothers in every way!! I personally am hoping for continuations to the series to explore each of them more!!
And for those of us who have a soft spot for small yappy dog Teach me Kpop has that too!!
Over all I am now a Vox and keep hoping we will get photo card style art for the band even if we have to print them ourselves because it would make the cutest book collectable.
I love this story, the characters and the romance. I feel like I could yap forever so here is some spoilers too.
now for some feet kicking.
This book swept me up so quickly in Jase and Nikkos relationship. When Nikko cried having to part with Jase I had tears in my eyes.
The relationship Jase has with the three students is exactly the kind of back and forth I had with my own librarian in high school and the fact he takes care of the girls in the end with the Vox hook up had my heart so damn happy because it was his own small way of going “look I’m with the band”
I already want to do a reread and go through and highlight bits and bobs everywhere I can!! This will be a many tabs type of book for sure!!
I am also kicking my feet at the fact Kaji has his own romance growing and I am keeping my fingers crossed it’s with a member of Rysing who got got all blushy when the man was brought up.
Also!!! Nikko getting a Solo album and feel confident enough to go out there and be himself and share his love with the world!!! Being sneaky and having Jase and Noel on the album and everything just aaaaaaa perfect.
