I read these separately and loved them, so when the box set was released, I didn't hesitate to grab it. Each book is filled with adventure. magic and strong female leads. Though they are part of a series, they can be read separately too.

The adventure begins with Key in Fire's Song who has a curse placed on her due to her father's deal with a demon. The curse makes it nearly impossible for her to have a normal life, and causes her to leave home searching for a way to break it. Demons and demon hunters and an order of Bards blessed by angels as well as several interesting plot threads and characters abound in the book.

The second book continues the themes from the first with the demons and angels. Tella has a gift of seeing and hearing ghosts and she is searching for answers. However, not all answers are easy, and searching for some could be extremely dangerous.

The third book is my most favourite. In a world without magic, Remi has strange dreams of a place where monsters abound. When an accident causes her to be trapped in the very world, Remi has to fight not just for herself, but for everyone she loves.

Go, pick up the books. You won't regret it, guaranteed.
