A truly realistic portrayal of religious guilt, small town homophobia. Closeted sexuality and adolescent conflicts. You truly feel for the characters and finding themselves. Truly a beautiful read

i lovedddd this book. i was hooked from the beginning and finished it super fast. great road trip read! it is horribly devastating, but also hopeful? idk but what i can tell you is that lesbians NEVER escape angst or yearning.
