I can count on one hand how many books I've read where I can say that the hero falls first.
So this was kind of refreshing to read.

Easton makes a fantastic book boyfriend and it's hard to find something not to like about him. I love how he respected Maya's boundaries and always made sure she's on board with anything he had in mind. I love how persistent he was, but hardly came across as stalker. Even though he was pretty self-confident, always indicating he knows he'll get the girl in the end.

And love how Maya let down her guard around Easton step by step and slowly fall for him.

I can't wait to continue reading in the Heston U universe!

There is something so sweet, so endearing about a boy who falls head over heels in love for the very first time.

Easton Blake is no stranger to heat between the sheets, but when it comes to matters of the heart he's a total newbie and reading every moment of his fall was the icing on this amazingly beautifully written cake.

Maya Donnelly is a bit of a hellcat, but in truly the best ways for Easton. She doesn't instantly fall at his feet, she makes him work for every moment to be with her. She is the reason he finds his big beautiful heart, to be the perfect man for her. Together they are total couple goals.

The story isn't high angst, instead it's the perfect love story. The kind that makes you smile and gives you huge butterflies in your chest while reading it. I couldn't have loved it more.

I'm sooooo on board with this entire series especially knowing that this is the first book. My heart is soaring with so much love for Heston U.

It was a slow start at first but once you really get into the book you can't put it down. I took a break from reading sports romance but I'm glad I chose this book to bring me back into it. I do appreciate that there is no third act breakup which I think more books should do. Overall I definitely recommend.
