I can’t even put into words how much this book impressed me. I just happened across the title when looking at new releases for this year and this series was briefly mentioned. This book kept me guessing and gasping all throughout. I’ve already started recommending this book to others. I’m excited to get my hands on the next 2 books. Love!!

My favorite kind of candy! It’s fast paced and there’s great character development.

I personally like to see more "space" in sci-fi set in space, but this is a personal preference. There was no need to include details about space in the story-line and so it wasn't included. Nyxia itself seems a little too miraculous and fantasy-esque but, then, so can a lot of new discoveries.

This book focuses on the competition between the various characters. Some characters within the competition were much more fleshed out than others. The way this book ended makes me wonder which characters will see more development in the sequel.

Can't wait to see where the characters end up in book two.
