I loved this book. It's a children's book but I couldn't wait to read it as I loved The Ballet Shoes books when I was younger and this didn't disappoint. I loved how it tied in with The Ballet Shoes characters as well.

As a lover of Ballet Shoes, Carrie Hope Fletcher's story inspired by it had a lot to live up to. I can safely say that it is just as charming as the original. As an adult reader, I love the intertextual nature of this book and recommend you read Ballet Shoes as well as Into the Spotlight, as they complement each other so well. Also I will be forever grateful for the LGBT representation in here!
