This series requires a very particular reading mood. One where you're not looking for anything too exciting, but are looking for uniquely bizarre and cute goings ons. I might prefer the anime over the manga. This is a story that benefits from the addition of color and music, but then the detailed panels in the manga are impressive. I guess I recommend both.
