Alright, it was cute and definitely hot but made me feel like a bad feminist lol. Very hetero, and I'm not sure whether the MC and love interest being so possessive of each other is like...a thing... that people are into? Sexually? Or if it's reflective of the author's views of gender and sexuality. I hope not the latter.
This was a fun quick read. I enjoyed the snappy dialogue but struggled to tell whether the characters liked each other half the time, especially Darcy and Jamie. Left unsure whether I like the dynamics between the characters. The plot pacing could have used some work. But I'm a sucker for hot sex scenes and a happy ending, so I decided not to DNF.
