just absolutely packed to the brim with fun, inventive stories. takes inspiration from general science theory or fact and spins them into gold. sometimes it plays with the medium, sometimes it just presents a magical moment and moves on, sometimes there's a three chapter love story about an asexually reproducing amoeba. qfwfq is an iconic asshole and the perfect narrator. maybe a little jargony for its own good at some points, but i still love it.

Although I do admire the imagination it took to create these stories, I just couldn't fully get into this book. I don't know if maybe it was the translation, but there was just something about the writing I didn't enjoy. It didn't hold my attention very much and I felt the need to skim pages.
