An adorable romance, albeit a bit rushed and it feels like a cruel joke naming your blind character "Lily Blind".

Very short and cute one-shot manga! There’s not a ton of background info provided but I enjoyed it regardless :)

Beauty and the Beast Girl is a light one-shot manga following a monster girl who lives in the woods and the blind girl that finds her.

Light on the story and the romance, this manga is mostly an atmospheric display of the emotions of our main characters. It’s all pure lightness and goodness with a healthy dose of yuri and if that’s your jam, then I recommend you give this a go~

3 stars. Sweet story, but kind of boring. Heath and Lily were likable characters and the romance is precious between them but I was just not all that into this one unfortunately. It’s a one shot so it’s all contained which is great but yeah it’s nothing special.

A very simple (over-simplified, to me) story about a lonely forest-dwelling monster who makes friends with, then falls in love with, a blind girl. The story progresses a little to how their relationship develops from friendship to living together, and briefly starts getting into the reaction of the human girl's family (lukewarm and grudging, for a few reasons). The story could have used a little more darkness to give it depth, but so far it's keeping to mild romance (there's lots of blushing and some kissing, but nothing racy) with only a very shallow look into the inner workings of the characters. It does once mention the blind girl's difficulty of if she can't do something she's a burden, but if she can do something she must be faking her disability, but that's the only concession to depth. Everything else comes a little too easily to the characters. An okay read for anyone looking for a light, fluffy romance, but it's a little saccharine for me.

Nitpicky complaints: the blind girl's last name is Blind. Really?!
