Thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. I was expecting a little bit more from the ending but I didn't hate it.

I loved the trilogy but the ending was very disappointing. Idk if its just me so used to seeing main characters getting their happily after that it killed me but spook becoming the emperor, sazed ending up becoming THE GOD left me very disappointed. Two main characters, Elend and Vin went through so much during the course of these three books and in the end someone else got the prize. Its like vin elend struggled for everything and its sazed who got the fruit(it kinda make sense ig? Coz he was a scholar who learned every religion an all but Still it was disappointing. Apart from the ending this book pacing wasn’t as good as i expected. I feel like there were too many unnecessary moments in this book. I couldn’t feel any connection to spook and him becoming emperor just pissed me off but really i love world building, all the actions, whole religions and the final fight with vin as preservation and ruin. Like it was really so good. I was on my toes the whole time. Brandon did a really good job in writing this. I loved character journey of both vin and elend and how they grew up so much. 4 stars.
