Going through all my backlog from the year my friends and I stopped reading comics and now I remember why. So many of these dark metal stories had less to say than random graffiti on the side of the road. This story in particular was just grimy and ugly. I understand that this was the theme of the series, but this comic in particular was so sadistic and miserable on every page it felt personal.

We all love Batman because of how unbreakable he’s proven himself to be. Without giving away spoilers I can tell you this is a unabridged world where the Batman was breakable. The Batman broke and hell followed.
