I could not put this book down!! This was one of the books (and trilogies) that got me into reading. I kept on flipping pages. I would try to go to bed at a reasonable page and tell myself “I will just finish this chapter”, but then what you you know, I’ve read 10 more chapters. I would definitely recommend this book!!

The main character is smart and means well. There are a ton of suspects so you question which are red herrings and which are just odd and which could be involved. There are some good twists and some predictable turns (but still had some element of a twist involved which was highly refreshing). All in all, this is worth the read and I read the author is writing a second book so I look forward to reading and seeing Pip getting some more character development.
