I feel lucky to have discovered Rebecca Roanhorse through the Rick Riordan Presents imprint and one of her fantastic middle grade novels. Black Sun has great depth of character and complex story lines. There was interesting use of magic that had a Native American feel while still being in a fantasy world. I loved the development and look forward to the next novel in the series.
