Extremely Intriguing and Original! This futuristic sicfi reads like a contemporary and is extremely satisfying!

I really need to think about this one before I can rate it. Before that last chapter it would have been a solid 4 star book. Idk now

ETA: After some time and some thought I've decided to stick with my original feeling of four stars. I highly enjoyed this book while I was reading it. I loved the thought provoking discussions on what it means to be human and when science has gone "too far". I am very curious to see where the author is going to go with that last chapter in the next book though.

This book was really different but I absoultly loved it ! It was wonderful ! Sometimes different is good !

This offered an interesting perspective on bio-engineering. I thought it was a well-written story, and a very enjoyable read.

Jenna wakes up after a serious accident with amnesia following a long comma. As she struggles to regain her sense of self, she has to work to discover just how far her parents went to save her and is forced to come to terms with her new life.

I knew way more about this book than you're supposed to going into it. I wonder how much it changed my enjoyment of it. The book was by no means hard to get through, but I was a little disappointed by the end, which I believe many people liked a lot. (I think mostly it's me holding a grudge against a character who gets a happy ending.) I liked the main character and enjoyed the mental exercise of considering the choices of almost all of the characters, so in the end, a worthwhile read.

This was an interesting book and I wanted to rate it higher but I just wasn’t shocked it wowed by it enough to justify a higher rating. It’s a solid read though.

This book was very good. Great, but not perfect. Still, I'm anxious to read the sequels.

Different but good

I don't know why, but I got the impression that this was going to be an action-packed book. Was a good change of pace from the normal sci-fi with a very internal story instead of external.
