Good but Creepy. Not the future for me!

I enjoyed both the premise and the execution of this book quite a bit, but there was one major flaw in my mind. The relationship between Jenna and her parents was well thought out, as was that between she and her grandmother. The relationships between Jenna and her classmates, however, was completely lacking. I would have liked to see more detail and really watch Jenna & Evan's relationship bloom. I also don't see how Allys could go from 100% against doctor's breaking their restrictions to being happy and healthy because of them. The book would have been deeper if we had seen that progression. Dane was also a waste. He seemed to be very important in the beginning but then it just never went anywhere. Very confusing. Pearson showed real promise in this book, but I hope her next is more fully realized.

Jenna Fox has just woken up from being in a coma for a year. They say that there was a terrible accident and that life is going to be diffrent now and there are things about her that other people shouldn't know. Jenna is confused and irritated by her new life. She remembers things that she shouldn't and can quote entire books that she has never picked up. She wants a normal life, which is why she insists on going to school. At Jenna's new school things get complicated. She meets new friends like Allys and Ethan, who all have stories of their own. A great quick read with lots to ponder about humanity and just how far medicine should go.

I read this as a teenager and found the audiobook and got curious about how I would feel about it now. I am confused on why Dain was included in the story.

Okay this book was for school but it was wonderful! i dint expect much of a book we read in school but this has a lesson of its own. I really recommend it.

I liked the ideas in this book, but it seemed to drag on a bit for me. Many of the same issues were addressed in the book Origin which I had finished about a month earlier, and the pacing of that book was much quicker (which probably didn't help in comparison). I am not anxious to read the rest of the series, and I am a series' reader-- normally love them!

One of the few book that caused me to cry. I fell in love with this book.

One word: incredible

Yes, Who is Jenna Fox, you ask? That's a great question. Jenna doesn't even know herself. As I read this plot, I was struck with the same questions and feelings as Jenna-as if I were Jenna. 'Twas a good enough read to rate as a 3 star..

Jeesh.. I was questioning everything about everything throughout this book. Although it's ending was quite predictable, I thought the storyline was Ok. The Adoration of Jenna Fox was a boring read overall but not a waste of my time.
