Needed more development of other characters, but fun read.
Nette leichte Geschichte ohne viel Dramatik. Konnte recht schnell erahnen worauf es hinausläuft, weshalb keine Spannung aufkam. Buch für zwischendurch, was schnell gelesen ist.
mysterious
slow-paced
i read this book at age 12 and i can still remember because it was my first ever 1 star review. it’s incredibly slow and when the plot finally kicked in i didn’t even care anymore so i obviously never finished the series.
The Adoration of Jenna Fox was an okay kind of good book.
It's about Jenna Fox waking up from a coma. From that moment, she has no idea who she is or remember what basic human functions are. It gets a little confusing because she's the POV you are reading from.. and you only really get teeny tiny fragments from her. However, it does pick up once she starts to remember things here and there. But that's not really saying much.. because it doesn't really pick up often.. and when she's in the dark.. well then you are in the dark.
About half way (maybe) there was a good twist because we finally, yes FINALLY, get to know who Jenna really is or was. I was so happy because I was hoping that it was going to get way better. It didn't really.. because it was kind of predictable in a weird kind of way.. but it was still interesting I guess. It was a nice change learning about her character because of the first half.
Overall, it was an okay book. Jenna was kind of a dull and boring characters who was just there. It had potential but I feel like it could've been better.

Overall the book was pretty good. It kept me interested all the way through. I did not like the epilogue whatsoever. It was completely unnecessary. Either end the book without it or write bother book.
I seriously could not put this book down...I read it in one day which is not easy for me. This is exactly my kind of book... intriguing characters, a bit of suspense, a bit of believable sci-fi (loving the current tie-ins with bio engineering of agriculture and medical ethics, viruses, etc.) and a bit of romance too. And I liked the ending. Interesting and satisfying. I could recommend this to so many kids including fans of the Uglies series.
I read this book 7ish years ago and I still think about it sometimes. If that doesn’t tell you how good it is idk what will
I listened to this book during my M of LS program at SHSU...I really enjoyed it. This book really makes you think about where we are heading in the future.. both in our technilogical advances and the ethical questions we may be facing.
