Another One was a pretty cute book.

In it, you will meet Shana and Trevor. These two had some cute ass chemistry but I will admit, that I did find myself drifting off every now and then. I wouldn't necessarily say that I was bored out of my mine.. but in a way - I kind of was. Let's just forget about the little tiny fact that I'm watching football while listening.. because it's not that important, is it?

Anyhoo, these two were adorable. Probably the definitely of adorable too if you think about it. Shana was a sweet MC that you could instantly ship with anyone. Then there's Trevor and he's kind of the ideal book boyfriend. Unless you are into the alpha type, then he's the complete opposite. They were cute though and I totally shipped them.

Now when I got this book on my audible romance package, I had no idea it was the second book of this series. I just kid of saw the title and saw how long it was... and went with it. Mostly because I was in the mood for some short audios because I've been listening to some long ass ones and it's nice to switch it up every now and then.

Overall, the romance was cute and it kind of makes me regret that I didn't listen to the first book. I guess I will have to redeem myself this year and get to it.

I'm a huge fan of Aleatha's darker books, but I'm really liking this light side of her as well. The characters are fun and interesting with lots of playful moments. I was rooting for Shana and Trevor, but also Stephen! I loved catching up with characters from previous books. This is a great, lighthearted, and fun read, a perfect complement to Plus One!

Another One is a light-hearted, fun and sweet read. It's centred around Trevor and Shana who met at his brother's and her best friend's wedding. There's mutual attraction but things don't really take off between them until they reconnect. I loved the fact that their story was cute which made for easy reading. I finished it in a few hours.

I recommend it to those looking for a fun, light story.

I have been a big fan of the these lighter side of Aleatha Romig books. Back when she wrote as Jade Sinner I would gobble these novellas up! Now we have fuller length novels and I’m in heaven!! Trevor and Shana meet one night while they are both in town for a wedding. There is an instant attraction but they don’t act on it since it turns out they are in town for the same wedding. As time goes by they are reunited and could things be different?? I have to say I really enjoyed this story with Trevor and Shana. It has more of a slower burn which I loved! We had plenty of funny moments. As well as some hot and steamy ones. I loved that we also have Duncan and Kimba from “Plus One” which I also loved as well. This is a well written feel good story. I also suggest checking out “A Secret One” which is a cute and fun prequel to this book. You will get to read what happens during their first encounter and it’s a good one!

The story was good. I just didn't feel that spark between Shana and Trevor like I did Kimbra and Duncan.

I liked the first one sooooo much better. The premise was better and scenes flowed easily in Plus One. In this one, I felt like we were given half truth the entire time, the scenes felt cut short and the resolve was WAY too easy. It also felt a little too much like an insta-love for me. I was rooting for Trevor and Shana, but I felt more invested in Max and Stephen's drama which wasn't totally explained.

I loved the synopsis for Another One - seriously it hit me like whoa - this is going to be super entertaining! I was definitely excited considering this would mark my first Romig book.

The best part, and this is mostly because I'm always a fan of dual POV; I love always getting both the male and the female perspective on romance novels. Especially when they are both really great personalities. Trevor is panty-dropping sexy. He is charismatic with the nerdy type to-do list kind of dude. I liked it. Shana was definitely even more fun, she was this sassy driven kind of woman that was really relatable. I loved how she was passionate about her career, this is something I love about fictional females.

Their chemistry is super adorable. Not only is is adorable and sweet, their connection is on point, they have this sexy, melt off your seat connection that left me drooling. What I do like most about their relationship is that they understood one another, they are so much alike - both workaholics, they respect each other.

Sadly I have this slight pet peeve that irked me... I would have liked to have gotten more of the history build, especially the night of the wedding, and the year of them being apart - there was this friendship they built that wasn't broadcasted just assumed in the plot. But nonetheless a year later it is like once they see one another it was like they were never separated, they just clicked.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Another One was such a sweet, romantically light read. When I wasn't swooning for the chemistry I was grinning ear to ear from the laughable moments. It was definitely fun. If you enjoy a light, fast paced read, this is great, I couldn't recommend it more. I definitely want to add more Romig to my TBR.

I thought Plus One was good. Another One tops it. This storyline was completely on point. I love Shana and Trevor's discovery that sometimes there is love at first sight and the second chance is worth the effort. Steamy, but lighthearted I didn't want to put this one down!
