Wow, the way I sped through the book from 37% to finish in one day. This is crazy, amazingly wonderful and everything I need it. I need this in my veins, right now.

I didnt start this book until last night and i read it all in under 24 hours and ahh it was simply just amazing. these books are just getting better by each book, and i cant wait to read the raven king !

went completely over my head. why are adam and ronan kissing in the next book? why is everything so artsy? My neanderthal brain cannot take it. Sorry Maggie :(

4.5 ⭐️coming back to finish this book felt like coming home <3 love love love this book so much. definitely captures spook factor and answered so many questions while giving me so many more! i can’t wait for them to be answered in the next book. my biggest gripes are that: (1) the last few chapters are so heavy in actions and those actions are super confusing, so i had to reread parts a lot to retain it, and (2) the transition from leaving the cave to a week later was SO random?? hopefully it answers literally all of the questions i have because i still am confused on some things.

Orla wasn't wrong, of course. But what she didn't realize about Blue and her boys was that they were all in love with one another. She was no less obsessed with them than they were with her, or one another, analyzing every conversation and gesture, drawing out every joke into a longer and longer running gag, spending each moment either with one another or thinking about when next they would be with one another. Blue was perfectly aware that it was possible to have a friendship that wasn't all-encompassing, that wasn't blinding, deafening, maddening, quickening. It was just that now that she'd had this kind, she didn't want the other.
if i haven’t said so already, i love maggie’s writing style. it’s lovely and impactful.
this is easily the most humorous of the series so far! largely due to piper and greenmantle. side characters are so well executed in this series.
this book is very full, there is a lot happening. lots of side plots and little errands. adam is breaking my heart, as usual. blue and gansey are being tender as usual. i somehow liked ronan so much more in this book than his book. i miss
Desire and dread lay right next to each other in his heart, each sharpening the other.
a couple gripes: each book in this series feels really different from the others … partially due to focal character, i suppose. the pacing style of the series is starting to bother me. every single books abruptly ends on a cliffhanger, with no closure. i prefer books that feel complete, even if there are loose ends to attend to in following sequels. this feels more like a single story chopped into sections rather than four complete novels.
