Pretty good. Great cast of characters, great setting, and pretty good stakes. It was just a good balance of everything, and I never felt like it was dragging too much. The side characters were great.

I liked the idea this book covered, with Apollo facing those he's wrong in his past (Apollo, jesus christ).

Yeah, this one was good. I don't have any strong opinions about it; just solid all around. I would say that Burning Maze had higher peaks, but also lower lows. This one was more consistently good.

Frank's fake-out death felt a little weird to me. But eh. I liked the "choosing destiny" bit, though.

If I had a nickel for every time a Percy Jackson character sacrificed themselves by voluntarily engulfing in flame, making everyone grieve, yet inexplicably surviving afterward, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

An exciting, fun, and funny ride in typical Riordan fashion. I loved getting to dive back into this series and world and meet these characters again. Would definitely recommend as a fun, fast paced read (especially if you're feeling nostalgic for your old favorite characters).

Didn't really like the Reyna and Apollo relationship bits, bit I am happy with the way it turned out. I am left wondering how Frank survived the Greek fire, even after he overcame his fate. Still a great read though, and I loved getting to see familiar faces again!

I liked this one! (Spoiler review) Franks unexpected suicide turned he’s alive! And free of the stick! Was a cool twist that I really liked! Seeing Hazel turned into a praetor was happy, the death of two of the three emperors was great, and Reyna joining the hunters seemed very fitting for her character. I also liked that we were reunited with peaches! Now let’s finish this shit up. Kick Nero’s ass return Apollo to his godhood.
