This book gave me anxiety, but that’s not a negative review just an internal experience about my inability to handle intense emotions lol. It was so incredibly good. The split narrative between Cas and Poppy was beautiful. The way Jennifer (can I call you Jennifer?) tied up the story lines and gave answers was great. I really loved the visuals and the POWER Poppy has holy shit. I didn’t realize there were companion books I was supposed to be reading, so now I need to read those and I need the next book to be out asap.

I absolutely loved this book.

The pacing was good, the banter between characters was the best it’s ever been, and I was thoroughly entertained the whole time.

My one complaint is that for the book being titled The War of Two Queens I expected a little more…. war?

But then we also got gifted Reaver, so who cares

I really did not enjoy the new writing style introduced in this book; going back and forth between Cas and Poppy's POVs.
