This was a great collection of stories and I really loved it.
Covert Curves: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a fantastic opposites attract romance. I think that this is one of my favorite Kat Baxter stories but her stories are so awesome that it is extremely hard to choose. The story was really well written and structured, I liked how it was an instant attraction situation but it still had a bit of a build up to the steamy bits. Remy and Ava were just such a great pairing and I loved their story.
In Too Deep: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a wonderful brother’s best friend/ fake relationship romance. It was my first time reading a book by this author but it hopefully won’t be the last. I absolutely loved the story. I had been curious about Nick and Cassie’s story since I read Covert Curves and it was even better than I expected. I loved how the story was presented with the inclusion of their previous emails and texts scattered throughout the story. The chemistry between them was amazing and I just couldn’t put down the story.
Scars and Stripes: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a phenomenal small town/ wounded hero romance. Hands down my favorite Kat Baxter story to date. The story gripped me right from the start and it just had so much heart. Wade and Kelli had fantastic chemistry which was really made clear in the massage scene, I’m fanning myself just remembering it. But it wasn’t just fantastic steamy bits that made the story so special, it was its ability to really touch my heart and make me cry. I think everyone should do themselves a favor and read this amazing story.
