Wow there is a lot going on with this one. But with everything happening it is very well written and enjoyable from beginning to end. I do have to say have tissues because you will need them. Kane lives a quiet life in the woods in Alaska. He keeps to himself and doesn't want to be involved with anyone until He has to go over and help someone that is staying at the cabins he is taking care of. Meeting her everything changes. Hold on because from that moment on you are going on quite the ride. Non-stop gripping page turner storyline. I laughed so hard during some of this book, held my breathe, cried and cheered for them both. Kristin did an amazing job writing this one. It definitely has your attention and keeps it until the very end. Loved all the characters involved in this one. One of my favorite parts of the book that had me laughing was what she does to the trophies. Highly recommend this one. So glad I was able to read it.

This book was so FANTASTIC! It had everything I love, a great meet cute, broody closed off hero, know it all sweetheart of a heroine (who steals ALL the hearts, mine included!) suspense, mystery danger, heat, all wrapped up in an outrageously heart stopping kindle fogging package. To top it all off, while this CAN be read and enjoyed as a stand alone, Kane was the last brother to fall in the interconnected series, so we got a peek into the future with all of them! I loved every second of this book, it truly was so good! Even the part where she made me bawl my eyes out was amazing, just a wonderfully heartfelt journey, I could not have loved Teale more! I wish I had a Teale in my life! I can't wait to read what this author has in store for us next but I hope she keeps doing what she's doing because I loved every minute I've spent in her world!

I’ve been waiting for Kane’s story since he was first introduced. There was always something so mysterious about him. This book did not disappoint, I couldn’t put it down. Kane and Teale are pure perfection.

I would rate this book more than five stars if I could. I loved the banter between Kane and Teale, I was laughing so hard at the mental image I got when she decorated his “victims”. The suspense and drama of this book kept me on the edge of my seat. I may have also shed a tear when it came to a certain sweet little boy.

Teale has become one of my favorite heroines. She is witty, she is caring and she isn’t afraid to speak her mind, especially when it comes to Kane. She is the complete opposite of Kane, yet these two could not be more perfect for each other.

This is another amazing book from Kristin Mayer and I am sad to see the series end because I truly love the Foster family.
